Mahé, the main island of Seychelles, welcomes award-wining Pangia Beach, a stunning residential development of 33 high-end beach apartments, due for completion in mid-2017. The Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 tranquil, granite and coral islands in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, is a growing holiday destination for UAE residents. As the latest and most prestigious apartment complex in Seychelles, Pangia Beach showcases direct beach access and a private marina, offering UAE residents an excellent option for a holiday home or investment property.
In 2015, a total of 21,178 UAE residents visited the white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and lush granite mountains of Seychelles. With an impressive increase of 53% in 2015 compared to the previous year, the UAE, for the first time ever, now ranks fourth for the number of guest arrivals in Seychelles. The rise in UAE travelers visiting these tropical islands can be attributed to the excellent air connectivity and close proximity, as well as the strong long-standing diplomatic ties between both countries. Both Emirates and Etihad Airways, each offer direct 4 hour flights to Seychelles twice a day from Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively, ensuring convenient travel options for those seeking a relaxing short or long break. Fundamental diplomatic ties have also been an important factor in linking the Seychelles to the United Arab Emirates. The recent Blue Economy Summit, co-hosted by the UAE and Seychelles in Abu Dhabi is an excellent example of this strong bond between both countries.
Panosco Properties, established by the late Panos Papakokkinos, former Honorary Consul for Greece and Cyprus in Seychelles, is responsible for the development of Pangia Beach. Named after ‘Pan-’os and his daughter Geor-‘gia’, this legacy project is one of true passion and dedication. Under the continued direction and ownership of his daughter Georgia Van Heyste and her husband Vincent Van Heyste, the development will encompass 29 luxury apartments and 4 exclusive penthouses, with amenities and features, such as direct lift access and infinity pools, never before realized in the Seychelles.
Designed by SAOTA, the stylish 1 to 4 bedroom apartments have a light colour scheme and use the finest in materials and finishes. In addition to their flawless contemporary interpretation of open space living and the spacious terraces, each apartment offers stunning panoramic views of the islands of Sainte Anne and Cerf. Pangia Beach also comes with all the amenities one would expect from a high-end secure residential complex: a private marina, direct beach access, 24 hour security, lift access, a private gym and a club house with an infinity swimming pool.
Given the beauty of the project and its location, it comes as no surprise that Pangia Beach has already been honoured with two of the highest accolades in the property industry. Firstly, Panosco Properties won a 5 star African Property Award for Best Residential Development in Seychelles for Pangia Beach at the Africa & Arabia International Property Awards Summit on 12th November 2015 in Dubai. Amidst hundreds of entries and competing against other high-end residential projects from South Africa, Mauritius, Kenya and other African countries, Pangia Beach also won the Best Residential Development in Africa award at the International Property Awards ceremony on 7th December, 2015 in London.

Together, this dynamic husband and wife team has the drive and passion to make this project a real success.
“It is wonderful to see a lifelong dream of my father coming to fruition. From the beginning, my vision for Pangia Beach has always been to create luxury beach apartments with a contemporary, island-style design in perfect harmony with the natural beauty of Seychelles, a place dear to my father’s heart” comments Georgia Van Heyste. “Supporting the local environment and preservation of these beautiful islands is a fundamental pillar to our project. The complex will feature some of the latest efficient technologies, such as LEDs, rainwater harvesting, individual Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning systems and many more.” adds Vincent Van Heyste.
Located on Mahé, half way between Victoria, the capital of Seychelles and the airport, Pangia Beach guarantees any discerning homeowner exclusivity, luxury and convenience in a secure environment.
