Every year guests travel from far and wide to attend HH The Emir’s Sword. It’s Qatar’s most iconic, and most glamorous horse race event of the year – comprising of three days of exhilarating racing, delicious five-star cuisine and fabulous fashion. HH The Emir’s Sword promises to be an exhibition of the best of the best – from the top quality international entries, to the five-star cuisine and fashion-forward outfits parading around the enclosure. Don’t worry about purchasing a ticket online, or on the door for that matter because it’s totally free to attend this wonderful event. Arrive at Al Rayyan Racecourse and enter through the main doors of Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, where you can make your way to the public stands.
There’s a chance for the fashion-savvy to spread their wings at the festival by participating in the annual Elegance Competition. The competition takes place on Saturday 25th and the grand prize is a stunning Longines timepiece, so don’t forget to don your chicest outfit* to be in with a chance of winning. All visitors must wear a hat/fascinator on Saturday 25th with the competition taking place in the Garden Area.
*please ensure all outfits comply with local culture – shoulders must be covered and dresses of a decent length (e.g. knee length).
