EID AL ADHA WITH PAULE KA
The symbol of French elegance PAULE KA has its romantic trend of the season adding a touch of sophistication – turn your look into full bloom in the most elegant way
After the departure of Serge Cajfinger a year ago, the Maison appointed a new creative director Alithia Spuri- Zampetti. Since her arrival at 223 rue Saint Honoré, headquarter of Paule KA, Spuri-Zampetti has injected a fresh and modern mood throughout the collection whilst maintaining the codes of the House. PAULE KA has always looked to the 1960’s as a reference point, so for pre- fall 16, Spuri-Zampetti gave the 60’s motif a trendy and relevant hand. She played couture shapes and created volume with lantern-sleeved sheaths, cocoon coats, peplums and full skirts with a modern twist. Playing with proportions, she has added the thinnest layer of padding to the hips of the classic 9-5 dress, producing the perfect little black dresses.
For daywear, there is a strong focus on separates as Spuri- Zampetti proposes new shapes of pants and tops that will complete the perfect wardrobe for the PAULE KA woman. Mod-inspired miniskirts are paired with silk bow blouses and topped off with the perfect double-breasted officer’s jacket – all in a vibrant and playful mix of colors. A deconstructed pinstripe blazer is matched with a cropped pant, while a ruffled neck blouse is worn with a flared short skirt and a graphic knit top is paired with a tuxedo black trouser.
