Social media enthusiasts, take note! Soon, Facebook will not just be your platform for stalking friends but you’ll be able to make your impulse purchases on the social networking site!
Thanks to Mashable.com’s reports, it seems Facebook is including new features that will allow shoppers to make purchases on their favorite brand’s Faceboook fan pages. The company is said to be testing a new button, dubbed ‘call to action’, which will encourage users to shop.
Moreover, Facebook will give businesses the option to add two tabs , called ‘shop’ and ‘services’: The services page will include the full offering of a page, for example, a brand’s look book. Nonetheless, you will still have to go through the company’s site to make your purchases, however, this still presents an opportunity for you to view what you might like on Facebook.
As for the shop page, well it seems Facebook will allow retailers to show off their products through the site and allow customers to make their selection and pay for it through the upcoming ‘buy now’ button.
Facebook is already testing all these functionalities and you may even have the opportunity to see them popping up on your phone very soon!
